1970 Light Bulb Depot 1 opened its doors to fill a need for wholesale, quality lighting products to the public. We have been operating in Memphis TN for over 33 years. Free local delivery is offered to all the surrounding Memphis market areas including Jackson TN, Humboldt, Covington and the Tunica Strip Casinos.

1976 Light Bulb Depot 2 Jefferson Louisiana was founded to handle the New Orleans area as well as an increasing need to supply the coastal markets with quality lighting products at a discounted price. New Orleans currently supplies the entire state of Louisiana as well as the Gulf Shores resorts. One of the largest inventories of marine lamps can be found here as well as the brightest bulbs for the yearly Mardi-Gras festival. Like the famous Mardi-Gras we are here every year to supply customers in the marine industry, the entertainment community, as well as all local businesses.

1980 Light Bulb Depot 3 opened in Irving, Texas to handle the Dallas/Ft Worth area. We are located close to Texas Stadium in Irving. We like the Lone Star State and strive to keep customers supplied with bulbs, lamps and replacement ballasts for signs, building maintenance, and contractors. We carry a large inventory of sign related products including hard to find Metal Halide lamps, Ballasts and Compact Flourescents. We also carry neon parts for service people at a competitive price. We offer the same quality of service as all of our locations with free local delivery to the Forth Worth area.

1985 Light Bulb Depot 5 opened in Jacksonville, Florida to handle an increasing demand for our products caused us to open to help supply Florida, the Keys, and offshore Islands with products. The east coast wanted a discount supplier of lighting products. Since 1985 we have constantly maintained our quality with low prices to help our customers and businesses save money. We supply marine bulbs, fluorescent lighting, miniatures and industrial fixtures to major contractors in Jacksonville as well as the entire state of Florida.

1988 Light Bulb Depot 7 opened in Nashville. We now can better serve Kentucky markets as well as better serve the state of TN. Nashville is an entertainment mecca and we are a part of it supplying lighting products to that industry. We provide savings to local municipalities by offering longer life bulbs at affordable prices. Maintenance personal are offered ballasts, sockets, lamps and tubes at discounted prices.

1989 Light Bulb Depot 9 in Charlotte was opened to better supply the East Coast. Customers were asking for a local location as they also wanted to save money by shopping with a leading lighting supplier. With the addition of Safe-Shield Products sales have increased, selling to schools, markets, and other sectors where safety from broken glass is a concern. We are able to coat most incandescent, HID as well as Fluorescent lamps in our own facility.

1990 Light Bulb Depot 6 in Birmingham opened its doors. We can now supply the entire state of Alabama with our products. We have now added custom painting of light bulbs. We carry a complete line of colored lamps and we carry colored Fluorescent tubes and colored sleeves in all sizes. Fluorescent fixtures and ballasts are a stocked item with our locations so we can supply them NOW and not have to order from a warehouse weeks away. 1994 Light Bulb Depot 12 in Houston is open for business. Space, space, and more space. That is what we needed as increasing sales saw a need to open another location in Texas. We now are serving the Houston area, all the way down to Galveston Bay with FREE local delivery on all your lighting needs. We are now stocking HID, Fluorescent , Incandescent and Quartz bulbs. We also carry a complete line of Marine lamps as well as miniatures. Maintenance personal, contractors and electricians have found we can save them money on almost every item and we have it in stock.

1995 Light Bulb Depot 13 opened in Atlanta Georgia. We help light the city with our High Pressure Sodium lamps as well as our Metal Halides. We carry the Sports Floods in addition to a large selection on wall packs. Ballasts are a big with us. We carry ballasts for signs, fluorescent and HID fixtures. Photocells, replacement lamps and sockets are readily available in our Atlanta location.

1998 Light Bulb Depot 14 San Antonio. Another location for the great state of Texas. We just have to supply more customers in Texas and with the opening of our new location in San Antonio we can now cover the state with low prices and quality products. San Antonio can now light from Brownsville to Austin. The Alamo is known as the pride of Texas and we are known to give honest fair low prices to all of our customers. We have one of the largest showrooms of lighting products in the state of Texas. We carry all sizes of Fluorescent tubes in all wattages including the 108, 117 and 120 lengths. We can supply your business with just what you need in lighting. We offer low prices to all our business customers.

1999 Light Bulb Depot 15 in Memphis was our second location in Memphis in the summer of 1999 to better serve the south Memphis and northern Mississippi markets.

1999 Light Bulb Depot 18 in Los Angeles opened in the fall of 1999. California customers wanted a location to service the LA area with in stock products. We listened and have opened a large warehouse to keep California supplied with lighting products. With this location all of the LA area is a FREE local delivery area, from Burbank to Long Beach. The stars shine in Hollywood and so do our products. Replacement bulbs from streetlights to household, to automotive lamps, we stock all at our Los Angeles location.

1999 Light Bulb Depot 16 opened in Las Vegas. The entertainment capital of the world now has a quality lighting supplier to call its own. With more lights per sq ft than any other city it is natural for us to be a part of supplying this growing city. New construction looks to us for fixture and bulbs as well as contractors doing renovation of the casinos. We can see our name in lights every day in Las Vegas.

Henderson is a FREE local delivery area for LBD as is most of the Las Vegas area. From Boulder Dam, to North Las Vegas we deliver quality lighting products at an affordable price.
